Jacksonville’s own beloved son Tim Tebow was reportedly working out with the hometown team, according to reports.
Tebow, a former NFL quarterback, recently worked out with the Jaguars as a tight end, a source told NFL Network National Insider Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport said there has been at least some discussion of him signing.
Tebow recently reached out to the Jaguars and requested a tryout at the tight end position, sources told ESPN Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Schefter said Tebow moving to tight end would have been a move many believe would have extended his NFL career had he made the transition earlier.
Schefter said Tebow recently worked out with the Jaguars’ TE coach and no decision has been made.
If Tebow did join the Jaguars, it would reunite him with his former college coach Urban Meyer, who was his coach when he was quarterback of the Florida Gators.
