LONDON — Action Sports Jax’s Stuart Webber got a chance to sit down with Jacksonville Jaguars owner in London as the team played its 9th game across the pond.
Unfortunately, the Jags ended up losing to the Denver Broncos 21-17.
But Khan and Webber got to talk about a variety of things, including Khan’s recent agreement to purchase the Lemon Bar, Seahorse Oceanfront Inn and nearby properties and how he works with the coaches of both the teams he owns, Fulham FC and the Jags.
Khan said in purchasing the Lemon Bar, his plan is to help bridge different areas of Jacksonville.

“We’re doing the property by the stadium, and Neptune Beach is a great idea. I mean, it’s a great location, and how can we kinda connect Downtown to the Beaches. I think, really, you know, having that kind of a bridge of connectivity. It’s a great asset. So, I mean, we, our plan is to continue what’s going on over there for a while, then study and figure out what the right thing to do is for the community there in Neptune Beach and how do we, you know, improve what we’ve got there,” Khan said.
This is Khan’s first big investment into the community outside of downtown Jacksonville.
Webber also asked Khan what it was like to work with both a Premier League coach and an NFL coach, Fulham FC’s Marco Silva and the Jags’ Doug Pederson.
“Well, you know what? You’d be surprised at the similarities. Both of them are very approachable, very nice guys, but very thorough and very demanding. And, very analytical, so, those are, you know, that skill set is, absolutely translates to whatever sport it is,” Khan said.
