As of Friday at 7 p.m., there are 2,130 confirmed coronavirus cases in Georgia residents, 65 of which have resulted in death.

Of these cases, 1,933 positive tests were confirmed by a commercial lab. The remaining 265 positive tests were confirmed by the Georgia Public Health Laboratory. A total of 9,865 tests have been administered, according to the Georgia Department of Health.

The Georgia Department of Public Health will provide an update at NOON and 7 p.m. every day to ensure that the numbers being provided through the COVID-19 data tool are the most current available.

The State of Georgia has established a COVID-19 Hotline number (844) 442-2681 for the public to call for information regarding the coronavirus.

These data represent confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported to the Georgia Department of Public Health as of 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25. (A confirmed case is defined as a person who has tested positive for 2019 novel coronavirus.)
