Wednesday, April 8 starts Passover for the local Jewish community but the coronavirus pandemic is making it a somber event this year.
Families generally gather, eat food, sing and tell stories about how God rescued the Jewish from Egypt.
Many Jews are finding ways to practice social distancing by participating in Passover traditions virtually.
The social distancing guidelines will not let traditions go on as planned and some rabbis have allowed the use of video chat, like Zoom, just for this year.
