Police: Fla. woman ditches child, urinates on officers attempting to arrest her

A Daytona Beach woman was arrested on Thursday after police said she left her child with strangers and urinated on officers.

Jennifer Cael, 34, dropped her child off with strangers on Thursday evening, saying that she "didn't want her child and didn't care if the police were contacted," the Daytona Beach News-Journal reports. The people with whom she had left the child obliged on the last comment and officers arrived at Cael's home shortly after 6:30 p.m. but she wasn't there.

Police said another resident mentioned that Cael might be at the apartment of her “sugar daddy.” Officers found her, nude and intoxicated, at that residence, the report said. According to police, Cael was “being aggressive as officers were attempting to take her into custody” and began to urinate on them while they were attempting to place her in handcuffs.

Cael was arrested and charged with child neglect and resisting an officer with violence. Her child was put into the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families, WESH added.
