Coronavirus: Florida county uses alligator to help people visualize proper social distancing

Social Distancing alligator

FLORIDA — Across the United States, people are being told to “social distance" approximately six feet away from others to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.

To help paint a clearer image of what six feet looks like, Leon County officials took to Facebook to share that this distance can be conceptualized by imagining one large alligator between two people.
