Flagler Health+ to break ground on health village in Palm Coast this July

The Palm Coast community will soon have a new place to receive healthcare.

Flagler Health+ plans to break ground this July on a “health village” at the southwest corner of Matanzas Woods Parkway and Belle Terre Parkway.

The seven acres of land will become a place for behavioral health services, orthopedics, specialty care, imaging and laboratory services, and will have a community

Officials say it will also serve as home to the Flagler county division of Care Connect+, which links area residents in need with available services to address social determinants of health in a coordinated way throughout all of Northeast Florida.

Flagler Health+ said its also currently under contract to purchase an additional 71-acres located on the west side of US-1 where Palm Coast Parkway and US -1 currently meet, to build an inpatient hospital.

More details regarding a groundbreaking ceremony will be announced in July.
