Jerry “The King” Lawler, a WWE Hall of Famer and Memphis native, is recovering after suffering a stroke while in Florida.
FOX13 Memphis learned that the 73-year-old was hospitalized after he had a medical episode Monday night.

According to multiple pro wrestling websites, Lawler has a condo in the Fort Myers area.
Lawler was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007.
On Tuesday, pro wrestlers offered their support on social media, including Rick Flair, who posted a picture of Lawler with the caption “We Are Praying For You.”
