Jacksonville nonprofit gets a big surprise from THE PLAYERS

Jacksonville, FL — Rethreaded, a Jacksonville nonprofit, received a surprise donation from THE PLAYERS this week. On Wednesday, THE PLAYERS’ Red Coats delivered a $10,000 check to help Rethreaded continue its mission of freeing women from the sex trade.

Rethreaded helps survivors of human trafficking by giving them jobs making bags and accessories, with the goal of teaching them a skill and ultimately, giving them a second chance at life.

The Red Coats are a group of PLAYERSPlayers volunteers who conduct “ride-outs,” delivering donations to different charities. Last week, the group surprised K9′s for Warriors with a $25,000 check.
