JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said one person died and three other people were seriously injured in a crash that happened on East 44th Street near Rose Street Monday night.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the crash happened after a joint operation led to a police chase.
JSO said no officers were injured. Police began to chase the vehicle after the vehicle was driving dangerously. The vehicle crashed and one person died in the crash, according to JSO
