CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with 3 counts of Lewd Exhibition after inappropriately touching and exposing himself to minors, says the Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).
According to CCSO, last month deputies responded to the Challenger and Oakleaf Plantation area regarding a report of lewd behavior. Investigators determined that 18-year-old Marckens Delmont watched a young girl walk by and began touching himself inappropriately. Delmont allegedly followed the young girl on a bicycle as she was walking down the road.
CCSO says as he rode by, he continued to expose and touch himself inappropriately. The young girl ran home and told her mom. Detectives followed up and canvassed the area and found another minor victim.
Detectives went to Delmont’s residence and took him into custody. He was charged with 3 counts of Lewd Exhibition on two minor victims.
CCSO says it believes there are more victims given the nature of these crimes. The sheriff’s office encourages anyone with information to call 904-264-6512 and ask for Detective Halston Jones, or submit a tip through the SaferWatch App.
