2 masked men sought by JSO in Papa John's armed robbery

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are searching for two men in connection with a robbery of a Northside Papa John's at gunpoint.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said two masked men entered the store on Dunn Avenue on Sunday, got away with cash and led police on a chase through the city.

JSO urges the community to stay on alert as two men, who are possibly armed and dangerous, remain on the loose.

JSO said officers spotted the car that matched a description provided by an employee. Officers chased the suspects to Bethesda Park, continued driving about a mile into the woods and got stuck, and ran.

Police caught one man, but two others escaped. The car's registered owner lives in the Cambridge Estates.
