JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Family Support Services of North Florida celebrated its 3,000th adoption.
Circuit Court Judge Daniel Gooding says hundreds of children have new families since the adoption system is being run by the private non-profit group.
Action News spoke with the Bell family who adopted 6-year-old twins, Jacob and Jasmine, today.
They were overjoyed to finally make it official.
"If you told us three years ago we would be adopting our third child we would've said 'you wre crazy,' but we felt called by God.
Family Support Services is looking for homes for 50 children.
