Bank of America to lay off employees

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Bank of America gave a layoff notice to the state on Monday.

The bank located on Southside Boulevard near the Avenues Mal is expected to give 13 employees pink slips, according to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.

The layoffs will take place Sept. 21, according to the FDEO.
