BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. — Four men are in jail, accused of playing roles in a massive multicounty dirt bike theft.
The Bradford County Sheriff’s Office made the announcement Wednesday morning. Troy Harris, 28, Demetrius Martin, 27, Jamarian McNean, 21, and Dennis Jackson, 23, are accused of stealing more than $230,000 worth of bikes. Deputies said 44 were stolen, and 27 were recovered.
This was cool to see ....something you don’t typically get to see.. stolen items being returned back to the right owners.

“They were selling them online, selling them to friends. They were trying to lure in other friends to get involved in this criminal enterprise with them,” said Gordon Smith, the Bradford County Sheriff.
Deputies said it took six months and 20 agencies to put those men behind bars.
“Relentless investigators that didn’t give up, they followed every lead,” said Sheriff Smith.
On Wednesday morning, some of the families who had their bikes stolen got them back.
"God. Thank God I got it back. It was the first thing I was ever able to buy myself, brand-spanking new,” said Wade Meadows, one of the victims.
Deputies said this all started in July of last year. There are still 17 bikes out there.
