KINGSLAND, Ga. — A Kingsland woman has been arrested for harboring a sex offender.
Teelah Ann Tucker was arrested Jan. 28 after David Barrett Yarbrough was found inside her mobile home, authorities said.
Officers from the Camden County Sheriff's Office had been trying to find Yarbrough for several weeks before they said they found him lying next to a bed inside Tucker's home.
Sheriff's office officials said they haven't seen a case like this before. CCSO said this is the first time that someone has been arrested in the county for hiding a sex offender.
"This is unreal. I can't believe that," neighbor Donnie said.

Action News learned that Yarbrough was convicted of statutory rape in 2000 in Johnson County, Georgia. In 2010 and 2014, he was convicted of failing to register as a sex offender.
"That's unnerving, yes. That's not right. Something's wrong," Donnie said.
Donnie has lived in the neighborhood for more than 20 years. He said it's normally a quiet place.
"This little place right here is my world … as far as … there's children down yonder in the neighborhood," he said.
Children live in the mobile home park, just a short drive away from where Yarbrough was captured.
"It is a growing epidemic in the world. They do pretty much keep their kids close by," a manager at the park said.
"When you harbor a fugitive, you're supposed to get locked up. (For a) sex offender, why should it be any different?" a father who lives in the park said.
Georgia state law requires that law enforcement make sure a sex offender is at his or her registered home once a year, but in Camden County, the sheriff's office checks at least once a month.
Tucker has been charged with harboring a sex offender. Yarbrough is still in custody and has been charged with failure to register as a sex offender and a probation violation.
