Deputies said they responded to a call about a shooting near Deercroft Lane early Saturday morning. Near the area, CCSO said they found a woman in her vehicle with a single gunshot wound.

She was taken to Orange Park Medical Center but later died of her injuries. Family and friends identified the shooting victim to Action News Jax as Terrion McQueen.

According to a police report obtained by Action News Jax, 60-year-old Cleon McQueen shot the victim while she was sitting in a car.

The report said McQueen was “witnessed casing the neighborhood,” and McQueen punched the car window before shooting, and then driving away.
