Police arrived at Lake City Chrysler Dodge Jeep on U.S. 90 on Monday night after getting a report of a stolen vehicle.

Dealership staff told police that Wolfe was trying to trade in his car for a new one and when they ran the VIN number, they found it was the vehicle that had been stolen from their lot on Saturday.

Officers spoke to Wolfe and he admitted to them that he stole the vehicle, LCPD said. Police reviewed surveillance video of the dealership and saw the crime.

Wolfe was arrested and taken to the Columbia County Detention Center. As of Thursday afternoon, Wolfe was still listed as being in the jail.
