COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — The Columbia County Sheriff's Office said a woman is recovering after she was stabbed by her ex-boyfriend outside her home on Tuesday.
That man, 36-year-old Maurice Campbell, is now in the hospital following an officer-involved chase and crash.

It started Tuesday afternoon outside the woman's home in Lake City. Deputies said Campbell stabbed her several times then stole her car.
Deputies said he was spotted soon after on U.S. 441 and chased onto Interstate 75. Investigators said he crashed in Hamilton County and was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.
