Daring opossum rescue on the Mathew’s Bridge

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — This week, team work made the dream work when the Wildlife Rescue Coalition of Northeast Florida teamed up with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office to save a tiny Opossum teetering on the edge of the Mathew’s bridge.

“With the help of Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the opossum was rescued and is being relocated to a safer place in the wild,” said the Wildlife Rescue Coalition of Northeast Florida.
