Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies reported that 35-year-old Jacob Pearson shot and killed 41-year-old Citibank employee Leanne Selman before a security guard shot and killed Pearson.

According to Hillsborough County investigators, the sequence of events began in Orlando at 9 a.m. when Pearson placed a call to an attorney’s office handling Citibank collections. He made threats to show up equipped with an AR-15 rifle and a bulletproof vest, officials said.

Surveillance video shows Pearson driving his vehicle through an exterior gate at the Tampa Citibank facility. Selman was the first employee Pearson encountered after entering the grounds.

Pearson then entered the facility cafeteria. Video footage released by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office showed Pearson walking into the cafeteria and exchanging gunfire with a security guard, who subsequently shot and killed him.
