90s festival planned for this weekend in St. Augustine

ST AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Time to grab your scrunchies, acid wash jeans, and tube tops and time travel back to the 90s.

Travel back 30 years ago to when Lisa Frank merchandise was everywhere, the Spice Girls were at the top of the charts and crimped hair was the style, at As If The 90s Fest.

The Francis Field in St. Augustine will transform into the decade on May 15 starting at noon.

The festival will be a family-friendly event that will feature live music from some 1990s artists who topped the charts. Artists that event-goers will get the opportunity to see will include Eve 6, Spider Monkey, Ramona + the Riot, The Space Heaters, NKO Nerd Kill Overdrive, Bad Dog Mama, Chillula, The Swell Acoustics, and Salt and Pine.

Event-goers can enjoy all things 90s with a slime zone, a Lisa Frank selfie station, a water slide, and games.

Tickets start at $15 online and are expected to go up the day of the event. VIP tickets are also available, which include a lounge area and VIP bar access.

Tickets sales will help raise funds for local nonprofits in St. Johns County and Putnam County.
