JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — A restaurant in Jacksonville Beach is temporarily closing its doors after it says an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
In a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page, Angie’s Subs said the employee was in contact with a friend who tested positive. “Our employee is asymptomatic and feeling fine,” the restaurant stated.

The restaurant said it is being professionally cleaned and it is asking all employees to get tested for the virus. It plans to reopen at 10 a.m. on Thursday, depending on test results.
In the comment section of the Facebook post, several people thanked the business for being “honest" and “proactive.”
