Ascension St. Vincent’s to close drive-thru COVID-19 testing sites

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE 9/25/2020 11 A.M.: The drive-thru testing sites will close at the end of the day today.

After being the first COVID-19 drive-thru testing site to open in March and conducting nearly 13,000 tests, the Ascension St. Vincent’s drive-thru testing sites will close at the end of the day Friday Sept. 25.

Ascension St. Vincent’s says they have seen significantly fewer people using their drive-thru testing services as the community has seen lower COVID-19 positivity rates.

Ascension St. Vincent’s urgent care will still be conducting tests inside their offices all throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
