JSO: Woman shot, killed following domestic dispute at Westside home in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman is dead following a shooting that stemmed from a domestic dispute at a Westside home on Friday, according to police.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said someone from inside the home on Autrey Avenue near Lane Avenue called 911 about the shooting around 4:30 a.m.

When officers arrived to the area, they found a woman, believed to be in her 30s, who had been shot.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department pronounced her dead at the scene.

The victim, and three other people were at the home, including a teenager.

Police said they have a person of interest in custody.
