Jacksonville Beach, Fla. — The death of 28-year-old Jake Hall, a father of three remains a mystery.
He has shot on 17th Avenue North and 2nd Street North in Jacksonville Beach one year ago.
Neighbors told police they heard as many as six-gun shots, people who live there say gunfire is rare in their tight-knit beach neighborhood.
“I was really in shock, and I didn’t believe it at first.” Jennifer Dube, Hall’s friend said his death was a shock to Hall’s inner circle.
At the time of Hall’s death, police had little leads or motives for murder. Today, Jacksonville Beach Police said they are continuing to look into information surrounding Hall’s death.
Dube and Hall’s family are desperate for any information leading to an arrest.
First Coast Crime Stoppers say only one tip has come in since Hall’s death.
“He was very friendly, he got along with everyone. He never had any enemies, none that we know. " Dube said.
