JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A popular restaurant at the Markets at Town Center is facing another lawsuit over customers who got sick.
In June 2019, dozens of people became ill after eating at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant.

The issue was tracked back to contaminated Mexican basil.
A new lawsuit claims more than 150 people got sick after eating at the restaurant over several days in June 2019.

We found five other lawsuits naming Cooper’s Hawk and the seller and distributor of the Mexican basil.
Three of those cases were dismissed.
