JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Family members have identified a woman killed on the 2400 block of Cesery Boulevard as Gail Clark. The family says she was 68 years old and leaves behind five children.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office stated that it happened Thursday morning.
Police said the call came in around 10:15 this morning, saying a woman was found unresponsive in her front yard.

Investigators tell Action News Jax she was beaten and possibly stabbed.
JSO says kitchen utensils were found in the front yard as well, and are considered possible weapons.
Investigators believe the killing happened after 6 a.m., which is when the victim and her daughter last spoke.
Action News Jax captured video of a dark-colored SUV being taken away from the scene. We’ve reached out to the JSO asking if it is considered as evidence.
Investigators say there is no motive or information on the attacker to release at this time. Investigators are looking for possible witnesses.
Police are asking any neighbors with surveillance video or information to come forward.
