JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A fatal crash has been reported on Starratt Road and New Berlin Road.
Witnesses saw a Honda Civic weaving in and out of the road near New Berlin Road. The vehicle failed to negotiate a turn and soon collided with a utility pole.
The driver, an adult woman, was taken to the hospital where she later died.
There is a power outage in the area affecting over 4,000 JEA customers. Police expect the power to come back on within an hour or two.
