JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person is dead after a crash involving a van and a tractor-trailer occurred on I-295 northbound near 103rd Street on Thursday, The Florida Highway Patrol says.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to the crash around 9:48 p.m.
The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital where one driver was confirmed deceased.
The road is blocked in the area due to the crash.
