JSO: 911 back up for residents using landline with AT&T

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE 6:19 a.m.- JSO reported that AT&T has made proper repairs and the ability to dial 911 has been restored.

Jacksonville residents in the area of Atlantic Boulevard and San Pablo Road may be experiencing trouble calling 911 from a landline if they have AT&T, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

JSO says there is an issue with the telecommunications company that is affecting emergency calls.

Those who are experiencing this issue can call 904-630-0500 for emergency services. If you need the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, call 904-630-0522.
