JSO needs help identifying location of murder scene

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in identifying the location of a murder that happened on Oct. 20 near the area of West 41st St. and North Main St around 2:00 p.m.

JFRD requested JSO’s assistance in response to a victim with a gunshot wound inside a white 2013 Ford Edge.

When JSO arrived, they saw JFRD trying to save the victim but their attempts were unsuccessful and JFRD pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit began conducting an investigation and discovered that the shooting occurred at another location.

JSO is seeking help in identifying where the incident occurred.

Anyone who observed a white 2013 Ford Edge in the area of West 41st Street and North Pearl Street around 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or by emailing JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org.
