JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Troopers said a man is expected to be OK after he was hit by a SUV while at a Bradford County gas station on Tuesday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 6:47 p.m., a 26-year-old Starke man was traveling northbound on 144th Avenue, just south of State Road 100, when for unknown reasons, he veered off the road and ended up at a Circle K gas station.
This led to a collision with a car parked at a gas pump and a 19-year-old Interlachen man who was standing at the pump beside the car.
FHP said the 19-year-old was taken to UF Health Gainesville with non life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV was taken to North Starke Hospital, also with non life-threatening injuries.
