Police find man accused of strangulation, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE 10:28 p.m.: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said police have found Eric Maxwell, who was wanted for felony battery by strangulation and violation of injunction.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for Eric Maxwell, 34, and is asking for the community’s assistance.

Maxwell is currently wanted for felony battery by strangulation and violation of injunction with a current bond amount of $550,000, police say.

He is believed to be transient and known to frequent the Broward Road and I-95 area on the Northside.
