JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update 6:45 p.m.: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said four teenage males were arrested and are being charged with robbery after two separate incidents in the Ribault area Saturday.
JSO said the first robbery happened around 3:15 p.m., when four teens on foot robbed an man at gun point and stole his cell phone.
The victim reported the crime and JSO said they issued a BOLO notice (be on the lookout) to officers in the area and description of the four suspects.
A little over an hour later, JSO got a report of another attempted robbery by four teens matching the same description. Police said two people were assaulted, but nothing was stolen.
Officers found the four teens matching the suspects’ descriptions nearby and detained them. A gun was found on one of the teens.
JSO said all four suspects will be charged with robbery and more charges may be filed, depending on the outcome of the investigation.
