FBI Jacksonville seeking diverse special agent candidates

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — The FBI will host an invitation-only Diversity Agent Recruitment (DAR) event in Jacksonville on Thursday, March 23, 2023, for select professionals considering a future career as an FBI special agent.

Throughout their careers, law enforcement officials meet and work with individuals from all walks of life, so the FBI values varied skills, opinions, and perspectives among its employees. The FBI is currently seeking special agent candidates with diverse backgrounds and expertise in STEM, legal, accounting, foreign language, education, communication, athletics and other industries.

Those who qualify to attend the FBI Jacksonville DAR will have an opportunity to meet one-onone with current special agents and FBI executives for insight into the position. In addition, physical fitness advisors and applicant coordinators will provide guidance into the special agent application process.

There is no cost to attend, and attendees will not be required to submit a formal employment application following the event
