This detour is in addition to scheduled periodic lane closures between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on northbound lanes of Blanding Boulevard between CR 218 and Parsonage Street.
The project will add two lanes to the four-lane section of Blanding Boulevard between CR 218 and Black Creek. It will provide more efficient east-west movements at the intersection of Blanding Boulevard and CR 218.
Also in the plans is replacing the CR 218 bridge over Black Creek to provide a wider bridge for traffic.
