Fernandina Beach to host fall festival and floating pumpkin patch at Atlantic Rec Center

FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. — The City of Fernandina Beach is scheduled to host a fall festival on Sept. 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Atlantic Rec Center.

The festival will feature a floating pumpkin patch. For a $2 ticket, participants will be assigned to a 30-minute wave to search the floating patch for their perfect pumpkin.

Afterward, participants will get to dry their pumpkins off to decorate them.

No open swim will occur during the event.

In addition to the floating pumpkin patch activity, the rec center will host other games and have popcorn, sno-cones and other treats available for purchase.
