Fernandina Beach police are warning the public after several reports of a man seen touching himself on the beach.
FBPD says they’ve received multiple reports in the last couple of weeks about the suspect, who’s described as a white man with medium skin complexion between 40 and 50 years old.
Officers say he was described as between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet and is stocky in build with a round belly.
The man is bald on top with dark, closely shaven hair on the sides and back of his head, according to police.
The suspect was seen driving an 80s or 90s model single cab pickup truck that’s dark blue with white or light gray fender walls and no window tint. The vehicle has a loud exhaust.
Police say the reports they’ve received have come from the north end of the beach, between West 4th and West 5th streets. If you have any information about this man’s identity, you’re asked to contact FBPD Detective Christina Woods at 904-310-3218.
WOKV told you last month about a man who exposed himself to several teen girls in Fernandina Beach. Police tell us they are operating under the assumption that this is the same suspect, although they won't have that confirmed until they catch and interview him.
