JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — This morning is mild with temperatures in the 70s under mostly clear skies.

  • Today will be hot with highs in the low 90s.
  • A few afternoon showers/storms will likely develop after 2 pm today.
    • Not as much coverage as yesterday.
  • Wind will shift to out of the northeast this afternoon and evening.
  • Highs go back to the mid to upper 80s starting tomorrow as winds continue coming in off the Atlantic.
  • Rough beach and ocean conditions setup tomorrow as well.
    • High rip current risk tomorrow and the rest of this week at local beaches
  • A few showers come off the Atlantic and head inland starting Tuesday and remaining for much of this week.

  • An area of low pressure may organize in the Central Atlantic that could gradually develop into something tropical. No threat.
  • The next name is FAY.
