Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- Isolated storms shift inland once again Sunday afternoon & evening
- Some spots like yesterday have received 1-2″ of rain while many neighborhoods are dry
- This is a stagnant or unchanging weather pattern this week
- We’ll see inland-moving storms each day thru Friday
- Temperatures remain at and just above average in the low 90s
- Rain coverage goes more isolated Saturday as temps heat up a bit
- A storm system swings into FL from the north on Sunday, bringing scattered storms
TROPICS
- The remnants of Dolly are over Puerto Rico, headed west
- There is a window of time near the Bahamas where the remnants may try to redevelop into a tropical system
- This is not likely at this time and most long-range forecast models have nothing happening
- Another system in the Northern Gulf is tracking westbound and away from FL
- This could also become a depression or a named storm but it is of no concern for FL
