- Scattered rain will linger through the day as a local nor’easter continues.
- The heaviest rain should begin to shift south through the day.

- Coastal flood advisory for the St. Johns River Basin into the weekend.

- Winds increase off the Atlantic through the day.
- Minor to moderate coastal, ICWW, and St. Johns River basin flooding at high tides is possible beginning tonight through late week.
- High tides of +1.5 -2.0′ above the normal high tide are likely.
- Winds pick up today, especially along the coast.
- High risk of rip currents.
- High surf of 4-6 feet that could help cause some beach erosion.
- Higher tides due to the approaching new moon + strengthening onshore winds.
- Gusty winds of 20-30 mph this afternoon will strengthen to 30+ mph along the coast.
- Additional rain totals of 3 - 5″ of rain are possible this week and into the weekend in many local neighborhoods in NE Florida and Coastal SE Georgia.
TROPICS
- Tropical Storm Isaias has formed in the southwest Gulf/Bay of Campeche. (pronounced ees-ah-EE-ahs)
- Model guidance carries the system northward/northeastward toward the Gulf coast.
- Early indications are a possible landfall anywhere from Louisiana to Florida Panhandle this weekend.
- Tropical impacts will be well to our west.
