JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- It’s a stormy one with heavy rain and lots of lightning pushing to the beaches
- There will be an isolated shower or storm inland before sunset
- But we’ll clear out and dry out tonight
- Sunday starts dry and temperatures will heat up back into the 90s
- Feels like temps in EverBank Stadium will exceed 100
- We have to watch for a storm or after 2-3 PM
- Long parts of the game - if not the whole thing - will be dry
- The best chance for rain will be in NE FL and south of I-10
- Summertime heat and a few storms remain on Monday
- Then onshore winds surge back in, cooling our daytime highs slightly
- We’ll also see rough conditions at the beaches the rest of the week
- Rain looks fairly isolated mid-week before showers bands move ashore
- This pattern looks drier for SE GA
- The best chance for rain each day will focus along the coast and into NE FL
