First Alert Weather: Tracking more sun & less rain, but still plenty of wind

Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:

  • Still very windy & cloudy Sunday evening
  • Drizzle and showers are pivoting onshore in NE FL
  • Heads up for more showers after sunset & before midnight
  • Monday looks similar to Sunday with more wind and clouds
  • A few showers will still stream onshore, mainly south of I-10
  • A COASTAL FLOOD WARNING thru Tuesday morning
  • There will still be minor tidal flooding at the coast & the St. Johns River & its tributaries
  • The onshore wind & rough seas really don’t let up through the week
  • Rain looks more isolated Tuesday & Wednesday
  • Moisture increases on Thursday bringing the best chance for rain of the week
  • Halloween & the Jags returning home to EverBank are in view this weekend
  • Each day brings a few showers, so we’ll be closely monitoring that forecast
