This morning we are tracking a mostly clear sky. The morning commute will be dry with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Another round of afternoon showers and storms will develop today. The main threats from today’s storms is the locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds. Showers and storms in the afternoons will continue Friday with high temperatures in the lower to mid 90s. Afternoon storms will reach into the weekend as well. High temperatures will heat up to the mid 90s.
TROPICS: We are tracking an area of low pressure off the North Carolina coast this morning. This low will try to develop as it moves north along the coast. We will not see any local impacts.
