Below is a list of Florida, Georgia schools closures ahead of Hurricane Michael:

• Baker: Closed Wednesday Oct. 10 through Thursday, Oct. 11
• Bay: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Wednesday, Oct. 10
• Bradford: Closed Wednesday, Oct. 10 and Thursday, Oct. 11 (Friday BHS football game is still scheduled for 7 p.m.)
• Brantley (Ga): Closed Wednesday, Oct. 10. and Thursday, Oct. 11
• Calhoun: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Thursday, Oct. 11
• Camden: Closed Thursday, Oct. 11
• Citrus: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Wednesday, Oct. 10
• Clay: After school activities are canceled Wednesday. Oct. 10
• Charlton:  Schools to close 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 and closed on Thursday, Oct. 11
• Columbia: Closed Wednesday, Oct. 10 through Thursday, Oct. 11
• Dixie: Closed Wednesday, Oct. 10 through Thursday, Oct. 11
• Blue Pearl Academy closed Wednesday Oct. 10 and Thursday Oct. 11
• Escambia: Schools will have early release Tuesday, Oct. 9 and remain closed Wednesday,  Oct. 10
• Florida A&M High will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 12
• Florida State University Schools (Florida High) will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Friday Oct. 12
• Franklin: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 12
• Gadsden: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 12
• Glynn (Ga.): Closing 1 hour early Wednesday, Oct. 10. Closed Thursday Oct. 11
• Gilchrist: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Wednesday, Oct. 10
• Gulf: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 12 and will reopen after Fall break on Wednesday. Oct. 17
• Holmes: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Thursday, Oct. 11
• Jackson: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Wednesday, Oct. 10
• Jefferson: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Wednesday, Oct. 10
• Leon: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 12
• Levy: Closed Wednesday, Oct. 10 and Thursday, Oct. 11
• Liberty: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Thursday, Oct. 11

• Nassau: Afterschool activities canceled for Wednesday, Oct. 10

• Pierce (Ga.): Closed Wednesday, Oct. 10. and Thursday, Oct. 11
• Santa Rosa: Schools will have early release Tuesday, Oct. 9 and remain closed Wednesday,  Oct. 10
• Suwannee: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Thursday, Oct. 11
• Taylor: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Thursday, Oct. 11
• Union: Closed Wednesday, Oct. 10 and Thursday, Oct. 11
• Wakulla: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 12
• Walton: Closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Wednesday, Oct. 10

• Florida Coastal Law School: Closed Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 10
• Florida A&M University, will close Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 12 and will also cancel weekend classes and events. Florida A&M is expected to resume all normal operations on Monday, October 15.
• Florida State College of Jacksonville: All FSCJ campuses will close Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m. ("Due to the uncertainty of the storm, a decision regarding reopening tomorrow will be announced by 6 a.m. tomorrow morning, Oct. 11)
• Florida State University will close beginning Tuesday, Oct. 9 and will remain closed through Friday, Oct. 12. Expected to resume classes and normal business operations Monday, Oct. 15., officials said.
• Chipola College will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Wednesday, Oct. 10
• Edward Waters College will close at Wednesday Oct. 10 at 4:30pm and all evening classes are canceled
• Gulf Coast State College will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Wednesday, Oct. 10
• Jacksonville University: School closed Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 3 p.m.
• North Florida Community College will close Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 3 p.m. and remain closed Wednesday, Oct.10. The college will evaluate reopening on Friday, Oct. 12 once the storm passes.
• Northwest Florida State College will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 and Wednesday, Oct. 10
• Pensacola State College will close Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m. and remain closed Wednesday, Oct.10. The college will evaluate reopening Thursday and Friday once the storm passes.
• Saint Leo University - Lake City closed Wednesday, Oct. 10 and Thursday Oct. 11
• Saint Leo University - Jacksonville and Mayport closed Wednesday, Oct. 10 through noon on Thursday, Oct. 11
• Tallahassee Community College will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 12
• University of West Florida will close Tuesday, Oct. 9 at noon and remain closed Wednesday, Oct.10
