Florida woman wins $5 million with scratch-off ticket

FLORIDA LOTTO: These people are making a killing playing scratch-offs

The Florida Lottery said Friday that Jacqueline Ramos Herrera, 45, of Miami Gardens, won $5,000,000 in the Gold Rush Double Scratch-Off game.

She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,725,000.

Ramos Herrera purchased her winning ticket from Baby Supermarket, located at 4805 Northwest 167th Street in Miami Gardens. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
