CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — A former behavioral health assistant at Middleburg High School and volunteer with the school’s football team was arrested for allegedly possessing or intentionally viewing child sexual abuse material, says the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
According to CCSO, a search warrant was served at a residence in Fleming Island after a thorough child exploitation investigation was conducted by their Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), and the North Florida INTERCEPT Task Force. All occupants of the residence exited and were detained without incident.
Following the investigation, probable cause was developed to arrest 36-year-old Robert Rahn III. CCSO says Rahn III previously worked as a behavioral health assistant at Middle High School from August 2021 to February 2022 and volunteered to assist the football team. Deputies also believe that he coached or volunteered for youth football teams in Nassau County and Tallahassee areas. Rahn III was booked into the Clay County Jail.
