WAYCROSS, Ga. — A Pierce County woman was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison for producing sexually explicit images of a child.

Court documents show Brandy Marie Gill, 43, of Patterson, Georgia, persuaded a child to engage in sexually explicit activities with the intent of distributing those images online.

She pled guilty to the charge this week. In addition to her prison sentence, she’ll have to pay $5000 to the Amy, Vicky, and Andy Child Pornography Victim Assistance fund and will also be required to register as a sex offender.

“Every image of child sexual abuse material represents the exploitation and victimization of a real child,” U.S. Attorney Heap said in a news release. “Together with our law enforcement partners, we will continue to investigate and prosecute those who possess, distribute, or produce CSAM.”
