PALATKA, Fla — Helping you get ready for the spooky season, the Halloween-style convention HallowRamaCon will be coming to the Putnam County Fairgrounds on October 10.
“HallowRamaCon is an offshoot of an event that we’ve been doing for three years, which is the Madd Monsters Halloween Market, at the same place, and we decided to go inside the Expo Center that was sitting right there and bring in some celebrities, upscale the vendors, and have a little bit more fun with it,” said HallowRamaCon promoter Robert Mullica.
“Our main guest is Warrington Gillette; he played Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th: Part 2 from 1981, so we’re celebrating 45 years with him. So he’s coming in so you can get your machetes signed, get your photos signed, get your picture with him,” added Mullica. Other celebrities expected to attend the convention include Mark McCracken from Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings, and Sonya Thompson from The Walking Dead. Guests can also shop from local vendors, listen to music by DJ Voodoo, and see the Ghostbusters of Middleburg.
Tickets for the family-friendly Halloween event are just $10 or $30 for VIP entry that comes with a swag bag.
